What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Didn’t get very far but this is how the battery and dc-dc will mount - I used some 20x20mm aluminium angle bolted to the seat base.

Also ripped out my amp and DSP to redo all the stuff under both seat bases.

Ordered some more 4AWG wire and another fuse holder.

Finally got round to moving my Webasto controller from the daft place the converter put it to somewhere sensible (where Cali one is).
I can now start it when driving at this time of year to warm the rear of the van for passengers or me without being a contortionist

From here (left the bracket on to cover the holes in the short term)

Fitted smoked LED sequential side indicators and climair wind deflectors.
Managed to loose one of the tiny screws :(
I left them in the bag which was slightly open took the precaution of weighing the bag down with the huge booklet you get with them and proceeded to fit the deflectors which took seconds. Then went to get the bag to find it had still managed to blow away even though it’s not even windy. Lost both screws but miraculously found one of them. God knows where I can get another one.
Happy with them both though :)
Also sized up the DRLs I bought for the bumper. Because it’s a startline bumper I don’t have the removable grill so I’m going to cut them into the bumper.
After having a look I know I can get them looking great with a wee bit fettling (farting about for non Scots)
The curve of the DRLs is an almost perfect match to the curve in the bumper and it’s going to look sweet.
I can’t wait to fit them now. I’m coming off for Christmas next week so going to fit them, the fog light kit, DRL bonnet strip and the THQ V3 headlights all at the same time when my bumper is off.
Merry Christmas indeed :D

Also fitted proper retaining clips to the back of the main table for the passengers captains table.
I removed the screw holding the main table leg so I can slide the leg off and on and it wedges nicely at the back there.
The wee table just unclips now and slides onto the vertical stalk at the sliding door. IMG_5483.jpeg

Enjoying the pre heating Webasto thingy that kicks in under 4/5 deg when engine running and fan is on.

Stupidly taken me a while to really understand how it functions however got it sussed now and as I can run engine safely when not in the vehicle and it makes the journey start much better - plus heated seats get a chance to warm up too! IMG_3431.jpeg

I think I have some spare climair screws somewhere in my office. If you want to DM me an address I can try and get one posted to you. Depends on me finding them first though.
