What invertor do you have?Cheers, will give it a go soon. Would it also work, not on hook up, but using leisure battery only? Or LB only but with the engine running?
The coffee machine pulls about 6% of my 200 Ah LB when it's done. 100Ah would be good, especially with bright skies!Cheers, will give it a go soon. Would it also work, not on hook up, but using leisure battery only? Or LB only but with the engine running?
Is it time we had a 'What coffee machine have you got in your van' thread, in the Pub section? There was a great exchange last year on one of the forum 'camp' Whatsapp group chats!
I thank you! What Coffee Machine do you have in your van?
With prompting by @Matt-T68 a new thread on van ownership essentials. We have a 'cheap as chips' Bosch Tassimo which has the ability to please our family with varying beverages to suit the tribe when we venture out. What should I really be looking at?!www.t6forum.com
Just followed the same route as @Drive Wayne with some great info from him. To ensure he keeps his position as the only T31 I have agreed an up-plate to a T31.5 to give me even more red wine carrying capacity and extra boasting rights!Agreed to an Up-plating on my T28 to 3100kg. They would go to 3200kg if I installed 'air' in the rear, I'll live without the extra 100kg I feel!
The folk at Van Weight Engineering are excellent. £276 Inc vat, well recommended!
The MOT rules around LED/HID bulbs in non-LED/HID headlamps were tightened a couple of years ago so this is likely to become more common. Easy spot in a normal reflector headlamp but pretty unlucky to be picked up for it in a projector lamp IMO. Have you got HIDs with an obvious ballast visible behind the headlight unit?Took my van in today for it's MOT, which it was failed for not having the correct headlight bulbs in my THQ V3 headlights, which were installed in 2019. Looks like I had a jobsworth technician carry out the MOT.

MOT testers aren’t jobs worths. If it’s not legal, they should definately fail it.Took my van in today for it's MOT, which it was failed for not having the correct headlight bulbs in my THQ V3 headlights, which were installed in 2019. Looks like I had a jobsworth technician carry out the MOT.
