What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Yooo that looks so good, you're becoming a bad influence haha!

I'm going to look into it, where did you get the material from? And would you say its relatively straight forward?
Haha sorry dude. Obviously only done a very little bit so far but it makes the cab feel a lot more in keeping with the actual cost of the van now rather than plastic everywhere.

I got it from AS Trim. And went with Silver to avoid the faff of having to source or spray up different colour grab handles & visors. I bought a 3m x 1.5m roll with a couple cans of High Temp Adhesive for around the £100 mark. The A Pillars were fiddly for a first timer but generally pretty easy. There’s a video on YouTube by a guy called Coastal Cushion Co which I found really useful for giving a head up on the common pitfalls & best way to tackle them.

Well you've made a lovely job of that mate, looks great and like you said will better reflect the cost of these vans! Just sent you a DM also

Thanks mate. I’ll keep you updated on how the rest goes, as I do it. Will be next weekend now before I have a stab at the headliner

Spent most of this weekend working on my kitchen pod. First, finished off my Walnut worktop. 2 coats of Osmo Polyx top and bottom

LED channel screwed in and LED strip stuck down

One shot in the sun, I love how walnut changes colour depending on the light

Then started glueing together the kitchen pod. I just need to give one hard to reach area a coat of primer and high temperature paint before I can glue together the final 2 sections. Started priming the main bits, this stuff goes one quite thick so it's easier to apply when horizontal.

MOT for another year, just an advisory for wear on the inner driver's side rear tyre. It's only had these tyres back on for under 1500 miles, I think the wear was from with it on these tyres previously (before June 2020).

I'll be changing the wheels and tyres for some AT's later this year anyway.
