What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

@Skyliner33 / @JiMsHaDY69 - I bought my front badge from a 3rd party supplier and thought the quality was poor in both the materials and fitment.
I ended up spray painting the original Vw chromed logo at a body shop. 100% better. 2 years on & no issues

I'm looking at doing the same! I honestly don't see the need in extra expense of buying one potentially non gen.

I will be using hyperdip shadow black from dipyourcar. Seems a deece product and easily done.
I will end up doing one if these 2 methods. I have a spare front badge but home done rattle can ended up a bit dust in the oqint when it dried. How much was it to get painted?

Not today, but got some time on a mates lift yesterday so finished installing extra seat brackets in row 3, just need the Kiravan front passenger swivel and happy with the set up, room enough for a table and brew and move seats forward can still get the bikes in.20211002_181529.jpg

Quite a productive day today!
Started with fitting my VWCarbon bumper protector, Sounds like a Golf door seals, Rubber end seals on the windows and Vamoose awning rail.

Asked a local converter if they could fit my awning rail and they quoted me £110+Vat, I mentioned Vamoose only charge £50 which they replied they’re based in Sheffield which is 80 mile away. Would work out cheaper driving there and getting them to fit it!

Where did you get the window seals from?

Matt black front badge from Transporter HQ

Now just need to do something about those awful chrome grille inserts. Can only find red, blue or green replacements from a quick search. Would like them Matt black.

I'm thinking of spraying the entire front grill in a satin or matt black. This badge will be the icing on the cake!

1. Trial fitted mine and the wife's bike in the van
2. Mine locked in and ready to go
3. Muddy bike after a quick blast

It all worked a treat, no movement whatsoever.
Just awaiting another proper bracket to arrive now so I can put that on for the wife's bike. Then when thats on I can trim and tart up the base board to look a bit better.
