What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Are them all for the t6.1
Arm rest door pads are they easy to fit ? Pls
Hi mate, yes all t6.1. The arm rest pads are dead easy, clean the panel and the pads have 2 strips of 3m tape on each. They fit really well too

I fitted it in the week and struggled to get the 3m tape to stick yet the next day in the sun it has stuck and so far stayed down. Work case is more 3m tape in the middle vot and a good degrease of the dashboard

That's good. Glad it's stuck down. Hopefully it stays there. Annoyingly I changed all the tape so got my own on there which is rubbish.
Used something else now and it's stuck but it's a small gap round it.

Thanks a useful add on to the van
But just seen the price are they worth that ?

I think there will always be some kind of gap which is a shame, the quality is excellent as is all the other parts. Thanks for the heads up

I know, you can only get 5% off using code "cartreminder". I am overall happy with them, it does add a bit more comfort and along with the other bits have improved the feel and quality of what is a very basic van tbh

Received ours today from S+S. Quite awkward to fit with vamoose rail, wind deflectors and pop top all getting in the way. Needs the roof up to get close to going over both doors but then doesn't fasten properly around the mirrors.

Closer inspection of the S+S website photos reveals that they have demo'd it on a facelifted T5 with T6 front end and T5 mirrors. :( seems they are one of the lazy companies that didn't change their design between 5s and 6s

Might try to live with it, might return it.
I know what u mean I recently bought a pair of single captains seat covers from s+s ,read the advert about how they had spent a long time perfecting the way the covers fit and that they had now got it just right and wouldn't be changing the design again ! So I was a bit disappointed when they turned up as 2 drivers side seat covers. So I read the article again and found I had missed the bit at the bottom saying the twin captain seat covers were not handed .So be warned if u have side airbags in your seats the velcro part of the cover that should be doorside is not on the passenger chair !! so bit of a safety issue maybe .(and the hole for the lumbar control is wrong but not such an issue) .
So like u say a bit lazy as surely it wouldn't be too hard to do a mirror image for the passenger seat ,on the plus side they are quiet good quality not as good as my previous inka covers but still look like they will last . (unless u have an accident and the airbag shreds them :slow rofl:)

Took the plunge and got her wrapped. Wife said all Candy White looked too much like a builder's van!!

Looks great. We had some decals added to our Candy White to make it 'ours'. I considered a half wrap in orange but as we still had a large part of the conversion to fund I decided the wrap costs were too much.

Did a tyre rotation. What a pain. Every tyre was seized on, the 20inch rims weigh a ton, it rained and the spare, once it had reluctantly come away from the holding bracket, was found to be well under inflated. Cannot believe any of the wheels had been taken off after the OEM tyre swap out. Anyway it’s done.

At least I know I need a club hammer in my tool kit if I ever have a puncture.

Looking forward to doing it again in 6,000km time.

Wow looks awesome! I want to do exactly the same to mine. Do you mind me asking rough cost and why you went wrap rather than spray route?

Fitted a new seatbase - I went with the easy spinner seatbase. Game changer! No more wresting with the seats to turn it around, it’s on a rail system so literally pull it back and spin into position! Link below
