Well I decided a steaming lock wasn't good enough, so I took the seat out (again)
Just in the process of moving the batteries into the newly built furniture. In the interest of space, I am keeping the DC-DC & MPPT under the front seat along with a few circuits running off a second fuse board under the seat all linked to the main leisure system via a 25mm cable so should have very negligible voltage drop.

I recognise that site, Mrs twotone2 and I stayed there early this year, Madam on reception was a little bit edgy - we were informed "this is France, we speak French here" when I tried to ask for a pitch in English! lol. Excellent site though.
Nice one I've made a similar box with velcroed lid fitted behind the second row of seats and it holds my 200 ah lithium batteries, Victron charger, 1500 watt inverter, and 240v electrics.
The owners are english and it even says on their website ' we speak very little French here' . Unless it was hired help maybe ? Peak season?
It was very pleasant anyway despite being bitterly cold
(just an over nighter) and we shall definitely go back that way .Near Bordeaux tonight on a busy camping carpark ....not quite as pleasant but again just an overnighter.
I've followed A for years, great band to see live... half comedy act, half rock gig. I ended up driving Giles (keyboard) home after a gig in 2019 as the trains were on strike!Looks good Lurch ....and abit of A aswell

It’s only a cheapy from eBay, but I am very impressed. I wanted something OEM looking.
The only gripe is the lack of volume knob, instead it has capacitive buttons, but it should retain steering wheel controls if you have a MFSW (I intend to retrofit one).
Works well, and I have a reverse camera with it. Microphone is a little iffy for calls, but I’m going to check whether that’s my fault with the install.
