What's my van worth??

If it's in Pure Grey yes... Indium Grey and still yes, however if it's Turmeric with factory LED lights, Abt body kit, soft close everything and Velare 20" wheels you could start a bidding war.

As title really. Thinking about selling and going something smaller as just don’t need the space etc
where to start I've not a clue what its worth, its cost me so much money over £63,000 from new including the vw extras and air ride and wheels sound deadening an lining etc etc etc the list is endless
its so difficult to price, when you compare to vehicles of same age etc
its only got 14,000 miles from new and just 3.5 years old and maintained to the highest standards
buyer can have the option of Bentley wheels or rolls royce alloys as ill sell the other set
if anyone is interested or can guide about price that will be great, hard to see it go but times move on

Yeah probably will but different needs in life, I've been looking at other vans I’d like but not found anything close yet

Hiya chap I had a 17plate blackberry twin sliding with airride rs4 bucket seats vossen wheels sound deadening was to the best with alcantara mk7 golf r wheel full sportline kit etc. Mine was on 48k miles when I sold it. I put it on here saying I’d like 40k ish and people on here laughed at me. Anyway I got 37k if that gives you an idea of what yours would be worth I dunno but you can only try at what you think it’s worth to you

Hi paul
yeah sounds similar to mine alcantera lining, focal speakers and J L amps etc all these things add up, even just recently put a £700 steering wheel on and floating centres on the bentleys just to put finishing touches on it
I've still got the sportline suspension so could put that back on if needed
after looking to try finding something similar with accessories and extras I've put on there’s just nothing the same, i think its going to be someone who loves the look etc and wants all the bits done so will appreciate the extra costs
im guessing around the £40k you had yours up for, how long did yours take to sell, yes putting it up for sale in the right places is key if some one wants a cheap van there’s plenty out there but this is cared for beyond believe
just have to see how things go, I’m in no rush only testing the water see how it goes
cheers for the info on yours

Yeah all adds up fast some do appreciate the cost some don’t and don’t realise the true cost of it all. I’d say you was in the right ball park price to sell. What airride do you have on yours now. Could be a extra way of making a bit more. It’s a great looking van it will sell I’m sure. Mine sold pretty fast

It’s on accuair e level with ABP struts/bags with twin 444s also had H&R anti roll bars done front and rear with power flex adjustable bushes
what did you move on to after you sold yours

it is a difficult one, most people buying a van that spec would rather not hand over 40k odd to a private seller that has no protection like buying from a dealer does.

I don't think selling privately will put the right people off Lee. This isn't the sort of T6 that your generic walk in and finance buyer will be looking for anyway. It's far more specific and someone looking for a T6 to buy and whack on Air with all the stuff you've already done, will see the benefit of buying this privately and saving a fortune on the install costs alone. Plus where will you find a 14000 mile T6 at the moment, let alone with all the extras on yours. My T6 is the same age as yours and it's done 100k but I was offered £30k for it as it is recently, and that's without Air and the mega low miles.

I've seen this van in the flesh and it's stunning, and if you do put it up for sale, I will stick it on my Instagram story, where it often gets 100s of views directly from our market, which weeds out a lot of dreamers.

Hi Paul
yes I think your right its going to be the odd person who really appreciates what this vehicle actually is and the expense spent on it
I do agree some people would prefer to buy from a dealer but then this sort of vehicle just wouldn’t be on a dealers forecourt
I am putting it up for sale but by doing that I guess I need an advertisement price ?
At the moment as it stands its cost me £63,000 which is just crazy when I think about it, but I am vat registered so i do get the vat back on the other side I’d have to put the vat on when selling it, I think we all regard what ever we have as more valuable than others think so find it hard now for me to put a price on it, if I had £40,000 -45,000 what could I buy. There’s the big question
thanks bud that’s a great offer from you to put it on your Instagram for me, really appreciate it, let me know what you need etc and ill private chat you mate
can I put an advert on here on the for sale or is there a special area for these things
thanks for the help everyone

Yep totally agree handing over large amount and also receiving large amounts is difficult, my last van i sold for £24,000 private sale the guy came and spent 3hrs looking over the van checking everything testing everything which I was happy to let him do as I was totally honest about any problems etc the van had over the years of ownership, and even still to this day keep in contact with him seeing what he’s changed or what I've added etc so I think actually meeting people and them see what your like etc tells a lot about a sale
cheers

I agree with the above posts, this is not your ‘run of the mill’ T6 and basically anybody that doesn’t appreciate that is just gonna waste your time. If the second hand market is as strong as people say, you should get very good money for it and rightly so. It won’t appeal to everyone, but somebody who knows what they are looking for and talking about will want this all day long! Good luck with your sale mate!
