What's my van worth??

I've just took a look on parkers, It's a T28 panel van, apparently retail £25850, assume that's inc vat as if not it's dearer now than what it was new.

You won’t get a great price from a dealer it’s in on their terms, what’s the van sorry you have to part with it, they are still selling well

Having just bought our T6 recently, after over a year of searching for the right vehicle and falling prey to COVID tax - your van will sell. Very quickly (if you need it to) if the price is right. Ebay, Gumtree and Auto Trader are selling vans for ridiculous money right now.

Anyone actually used WBAV/We Buy Any Van?
I‘ve stuck my T6 reg in and it has come back with what I believe to be somewhat high. Seems too good to be true - I know they knock money off for stone chips etc but surely that would only be a few hundred quid?

Hi

Just sold a T6 Sportline 2012 with lots extras to WBAV
Wanted to get rid of it quick .
Took it down first time but had a private plate on so was told to come back although they did value it for me.
Had a problem with DVLA sending over a HPI check which they are meant to do automatically on a plate change.
Didn't get back for 4 weeks due to above problem but when I did I got £900 more for it than the first visit!

It make a big difference how you get but it was the same guy who valued it both times.
I took it down last appointment (dusk) . They don't take into account any extras on the van so I did take a few off and sold on flabby for £500.
The reps hands are tied a bit on price but on mine he had around £700 leeway to play with as far as I can work out.
They took off £300 from the web price due to wear and tear etc.

Used prices are through the roof at the moment , the van went to BCA as they own WBAV
I got £15000 plus vat, it was at the auction for between £13k -16K and a dealer has it on the forecourt for £17999 plus vat
I reckon they paid around £16000 at auction, I could find out but have let it go!

I was happy with the service and price, ordered a new T6.1 with lots of goodies , got a great deal from auth VW dealer.

Hope that helps

That is helpful thanks for taking the time to reply.
I've just taken the private plate off mine so will need to wait a week for the log book but I might give them a go - worse case I politely decline their offer and walk away.

I have little time for losers on fleabay trying to knock you down so might use WBAV as a hassle free alternative

I went four times in total because DVLA cocked up the HPI

There was no HPI on it and I had the new log book , they just missed the check which apparently goes with it.

It was hassle free but they do try and knock you around £600

HI, noticed your van sold, I assume to webyanyvan. Can I ask what their final offer was as had an intriguing offer myself but don't want to waste my time if they are going to knock it down considerably.

I sold my T26 2018 Startline 2 days ago with WBAV. They gave me more than what I paid for it 12 months ago. £500 less than what they quoted online but that's because I messed up the amount of previous owners on the online form.

been offered a 17 plate 45k mileage lwb highline for £20k
have had a good look over it and it all seems ok, couple of bits need sorting out on the bodywork nothing too bad (couple of small paint repairs)

5 speed manual 110 bhp i think, with full service history

what do you guys think?

The 5 speed isn't as strong as the 6 speed, but it is capable of high mileage if not abused.
Does it sound ok when driven ?

Pete

it sounded fine, did not hear anything to make think there was any issue, drove strong for what it was 110bhp

would prefer the 6 speed or a dsg, but your looking at a fair chunk more £30k

just dont want to overpay for one, pre covid that was more like 18k i would have thought?

i suppose whats the going rate for the 17 plate lwb highline with 45k on it?

It's difficult to advise without seeing it in the metal. Also your requirements may be different to other peoples, so we don't know what would suit you.
