I’ve spent the last 7 years coming to France 3 times every yearTaking the lad for a week in Normandy at the end of next week. He's a young Army Cadet willing to learn the meaning of respect.

if you get the opportunity, go to the Arromanches 360. It’s a really reality check for today’s youngsters.Taking the lad for a week in Normandy at the end of next week. He's a young Army Cadet willing to learn the meaning of respect.
You will absolutely love Norway, probably shouldn't say this but way better than Scotland, and I've lived in the Highlands all my life. The only downside is everything is so bloody expensive, hate to think what we have spent but it's just been amazing and well worth it. Infrastructure for camping is first class and you can rough it and wild camp without issues. Anything you need to know just askThis might sound boring but I am new to the world of VW T vehicles. Today I had a number or chores in several towns and villages near me so I trundled around all day completely chilled in my T6 and for the first time in several years I really enjoyed just being in the vehicle.
I have not felt this since my last LR Defender which I had to sell 3 years ago due to a house move and life just did not need a hulking great 4x4. I loved to cruise and trundle in the Defender 110, we went all over Europe in it, I am really looking forward to doing the same in the T6.
Earlier today my wife suggested that when we can we should have trip around Scotland again stopping where we needed to in pubs and B&Bs and just follow our nose. Can't wait. It will probably be next year now but something to look forward to. I then made the mistake of showing here the tread by Kiter on his Norway trip. We are now going to do a similar trip ...... !!
Anyway, ramble over.
