Is that the big carpark on the left as you drive down that road has something big in the centre of carpark?? I used to launch my jet ski from there
it’s that area, but it’s the next car park along. If you carry on up the road for half a mile there’s another turning on the left just after the traffic lights. You can park on the grass verge over looking the sea.

Is it ok for overnight ? I'm up that way tomorrow to dungeness for some fishing

I’ve never stopped there myself but I’d imagine it would be ok, there’s some bushes near the toilet block that would hide a van from the road. Tbh if you’re fishing over in Dungeness, you might be better off using the car park in Greatstone

According to government guidelines, I don't believe that anywhere is 'ok for overnight' unless, of course you work as an adviser to the Boris Johnson.
If you are fishing and not camping though it should be ok. Fishing is allowed (I think).
I have been doing day trips this week and I got to thinking, it while driving at any time and you feel tired the advice is to pull over and take a break, have 40 winks and drive on. Now with the Cummings rule of personal interpretation surely if you are driving late and get tired then it’s ok to pull over and sleep for an hour or two and if you are really tired then you might not wake up until morning. Surely that is following gov guidelines?

Enjoy the fishing. Apparently, one of the requirements for being an adviser at No. 10 is that you do not need to sleep and will also be capable of driving 5 or 6 hours straight without any break whatsoever. Even when I was a lot younger than I am now, I couldn't have driven for that long without a wee or even just a leg stretch! They must also be able to breed super children who can go for that amount of time in the back of a car without wanting to stop for a wee either. I've certainly never met one but I guess there might be a few around. Best stop this now or we're in danger of getting political!

We’ve been there everyday for the past 10 days or so, except this morning when we were running 20 mins late and all the best spots had gone.
Was up at Vision Leisure yesterday getting the foam on my RIB repaired. There was insufficient glue holding the upper and lower foam together. Some nice stuff up there. I had a quote to recover in leather with the Recaro upgrades while I was there too!
