Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Round to the local garage to see if they could look at my Van. Had a noise coming from the front when we went out so dicided to scrubb out outing and went some where else in the Jimny. After getting back I took the van round to Ridgeway Garage (Marshalls now) to see if some one could have a quick look. No they could not fit it in as only one Van Tech was there the rest were out on a course. Bad Planning in my mind and I felt really fobbed off by the service guy taking details. As it was the noise seems to have gone so I'm wondering wat it was. Stone on the disc or stick causeing a rub. One thing is for sure Ridgeway will not be having me gt my van serviced by them. :mad::mad::mad:

Thanks for sharing, this dealer is one of my more local ones, so won't be trusting them with my van.

The rot set in when Marshalls took over, the acconuts manager and a lot of other people jumped ship, I was untrusting of them before hand but even more so now.
 
Yes silver turfer it's the best £10 Chinese plastic money can buy, oh and it stopped the im bored I want to go home so hey ho

Ridgeway/MarshallDidcot were one of my servicing options as well, so I will put them at the bottom of the list. TBH - When I was looking the sales guy was so convinced that I wouldn't swap from my Audi, that he didn't even bother following up as we had agreed - more fool him!

My other choices are either Reading or Wooburn Green. Reading is another Ridgeway/Marshall, and is a complete pain to get to. So by process of elimination I'll probably go to Wooburn - they were really good when I was looking but couldn't find me a 2nd Hand DSG :(

I had the exact same issue with Northampton VWCV, test drove a T6 that did not have the engine or gearbox I wanted. The sales guy took the details of what I wanted in a half assed way because he did not believe I'd get out of my Audi, so never called back. More fool him, 3 - 4 weeks later bought my van from Listers at Coventry. Hope the dickhead is missing his commission.:D
 
my van has only been in my garage all day long . sorry about that so I wont bother to show you the scenary lol
 
Em ... a tidy garage is a sign of a sick mind.
No sorry I should no say that ... I'd love my garage back, but we only cleared it out less than 6 months ago and its back to the same Jungle.

I've even got a pit in the garage for when DIY on cars comes back, or its very trendy now in this town (Royston)
to stick your misses down there with her dog.
 
the wifes audi a6 goes in the empty one ,so you cant swing a cat in there then
