Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

My first proper trip out to Flamborough Head with the in laws but it was that cold I never got a round to taking a pic.

Day 3 with it, still loving it but now it's filthy!

Not sure about that with the so called Hybred on it. Still have to go and look at one though the wife will not be replaceing her Jimny with one. Bit miffed they seem to have dropped the 4x4 Swift
It drives far better than the Swift, which yes they have dropped the 4x4 as new model due out soon.

IMG_1034.JPG Had a a busy day today ending up collecting some celotex for a little project.

Rural Relaxing at Medbourne. Down to minus 4 this morning but toasty warm in the van - water on camp site frozen, water in van's underslung tank frozen!! Fortunately we had plenty of bottled water stashed around the van. Expected to have problems with butane and my external gas point this morning (pipe runs externally from gas locker on drivers side to passenger side) but worked fine. Loving winter camping in the van, especially when you wake up to frosty and sunny mornings like today.

@Davenjo, have you got any kind of thermal screen for your poptop? We were away over Xmas and whilst it's warm in the van the kids were colder in the poptop.

Essential in our last California but the newer roof canvas is SO much better.
But I highly recommend a Pucer if you need one. Very effective, easy to put on (some are a proper PITA) and cheap too.

No, we currently just have a black out wrap for the outside of the front windows but nothing around the pop top (SCA). My son was sleeping in the pop top and made no complaints about being cold but he does tend to run a lot hotter than his ageing parents!! We were considering getting both a thermal wrap for the front screens and pop top but are now wondering whether to bother or not.

It's the Vango Airbeam Kela III "low" (naturally!). It is an awesome piece of kit..... real easy to put and down. And sturdy, I've got no guideropes out other than the two storm ones at the front (not electric hook up @Loz :):))

Just about to get a full english cooking..... oh happy days
