High up on the East Mounth Cairngorm plateau today with hardly a soul in sight. Slept in my camper at the bottom of the hills to make sure of an early start - it’s getting milder and once the sun gets up the snow starts to melt and things become a lot less fun.

Drive along to Culross then walked the coast path to Torryburn and back; was about 2 and a half hours.

It’s spring in the glens but definitely still winter up on the tops. Overnighter at the end of a single track road and a day out on Stuc a Chroin today. Enjoyed the company of a few ptarmigan on the summit.
