Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

I’ve driven 200 yards, literally, to salvage these things. They were supporting a large banner and had blown off the top of the railway viaduct during the gale. They would have killed anyone they hit. Double scaffold board thickness and I can save a four foot length from each one. Enough to make a nice work bench with some industrial trestles I’ve got.

We’ll, I’ve been to North Devon and back for the week with my wife and friends, but owing to a bout of dizziness that set in last week I’ve not driven anywhere in it. It’s sat outside our accommodation looking cool. It’s now back on the drive at home.

Get that dizziness checked out, matie

Thanks, I spent a few hours in Barnstaple A&E. I had a CT scan, bloods and ECG all done in record time with no conclusion. I’ll be into my GP on Monday. The sooner I’m fixed the sooner we’re back out in the van enjoying it properly.
You’re in “the system”, that’s the main thing. Continue being careful

Apart from what looks like the small capacity and if I'm right in thinking that they're ceramic (or whatever), their breakability for a clumsy bugger like me. I like my camping eating / drinking kit to be squaddie proof.
small? they're huge, what you'd call a large cereal bowl. Not unbreakable but very sturdy. Tin mugs have their place, but these are great multi-purpose cups/bowls for camping. Thats a large cereal bowl and a pint glass for size reference!

I bought a Central Perk mug last week and it is now permanently in the van. It is huge. I think if I dropped it it might break the van.

The large 'Central Perk' coffee cups deserve a mention in the camping Equipment section, they make superb cereal/soup/porridge bowls for camping, the handle means you're much less likely to drop them or spill your soup all over the T6 seat covers. I have a couple that live permanently in the camper, highly recommended!
Absolutely. I bought it for 10p last week from the charity shop in the village. My best van bargain ever.
