Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

I love the IOM, but not sure how I'd fill 5 days there.

I nearly took my van to Santa Pod today. The plan was to take the Mk2 Golf and enter it in the show and shine, but yesterday afternoon when the battery was completely flat for the second time this week, I got the pig with it, locked the garage door and said we'd take the van. Travel in comfort and just park in the regular car park. Once I'd pulled myself together, I had a thought about the new radio and DAB aerial booster I'd fitted. Sure enough, the aerial booster was drawing power all the time, so a quick swap of wires, battery on charge and all was good again. So we had a day out the the Golf, put 260 miles on it (more than it had done in the last 3 years) and the old van had a rest at home.

Gotta be the most entertaining post I’ve read today!

How do you find pitching on hardstanding compared to grass ? Can see the benefit of it being dryer / cleaner just concerned about potential wear on the bottom of the awning ...
I tend to go hardstanding to avoid mud with kids . We have the footprint for under the awning and never had an issue with wear and the vango carpet inside may also help with that

Does anyone else think of the things our grandparents used to keep under their beds when they see @Sackmycook 's reg plate?!

Today it’s the Rumer Hill Business Estate, Cannock. Dropped the van off with Steve at @CRS Performance and waiting for him to work his magic (Koni Special Actives) before we test it all the way back to the Highlands
Definitely a worth while visit I’m sure. I enjoyed meeting Steve and Steve, they’re a breath of fresh air in the times of main dealers and service advisors.
