Definitely a worth while visit I’m sure. I enjoyed meeting Steve and Steve, they’re a breath of fresh air in the times of main dealers and service advisors.

Definitely a worthwhile visit, although it was Big Steve alone today because it’s holidays. Excellent service and great results, crashy T32 is now a smooth T32 with handling and poise. Clearly VW don’t build them like this because they would sell a hell of a lot less SUV’s Thanks again @CRS Performance

I hope the drive home left a smile on your face. VW’s shortcomings is Steve’s pipeline.

“Big Steve” is great! VW had whinged about my suspension when they did their “All-in” inspection so I popped up to CRS. Like a knob, I had forgotten my locking nut…! But Big Steve wouldn’t be beaten and replaced the drop links. (In the meantime, Boss Steve put the dealer back in his box!)

It was actually Boss Steve there today but Big works for me
I also felt like a right numpty when Steve asked me if I had the locking wheel nut key and I spent 5 minutes looking for it in a fully loaded camper before Steve kindly pointed out that there were no locking bolts fitted!!!

Purely on looks I wish I'd done it ages ago. On comfort and driveability, I can't tell the difference.

Had a lovely 5 days in Pembrokeshire, stayed in Campsite | Digs in the Wig | Wales, we were the only ones there. Went to Marloe Sands, Tenby and Mwnt but failed to get to Skomer to see the Puffins as the weather wasnt suitable for the boat crossing. Stress tested the Autoterm heater which was left on all night to keep us toasty

Was it you that put the wanted ad on? I saw that and thought about it as we now have a vango airbeam canopy as well as the big drive away awning but I do like this one, it’s so easy to put up and adaptable too (we set it up as a tarp when we drive away) so would definitely recommend

It wasn’t me that put the wanted ad on. I’ve had the funky leisure site open in my browser for some time. The orange canopy isn’t due into stock until June so I was contemplating waiting or going for the neutral silver. We’ve only had our van a few months and are getting it converted in stages as funds permit. We’ve not been away camping in it yet, just day trips out. I’m not sure about the full drive away awning - if we get away to camp at one of the events this year we can chat to the forum folks on site and see what works and what might not suit our purpose. The way I see it is that the canopy takes up next to no space and and should go up in a couple of minutes and there’s change out of £100 (just) - there aren’t too may T6 mods that you can say that for.

That is very true! Someone else was after an orange one too on the forum then so they are obviously in high demand. It’s also true that they pack down small and the poles can be moved to the middle and so make a ridge which is good for wet weather. It’s also true that the wife (while sheltering under in from the sun) said she didn’t really see what function it serves!
