Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

@Salty Spuds. Out of interest, have you had any others to compare it to? I've got to the point where I want to buy my first 'proper' drone and definitely want to go 'sub 250gm' with a choice narrowed down to either the DJI Mini 2 or Mini 3 Pro. I've only just started researching them but it seems that all the reviews that I've seen comparing the two could be summarised by saying that both are very good and do the job but if you've got the extra cash go for the Mini 3 Pro because of the higher spec. Advice from anybody else would also be appreciated.

DJI have just released a Mini 3 as well from £500 odd. I believe same camera as the Mini 2, but longer flight time among other improvements. I’m afraid I can’t offer any more as I’m in a similar position to you and just looking curiously at them for now!

Look here for very thorough reviews. He focuses on sports tech mostly, but does drones too.

It’s my first & only drone. I wanted something sub 250g and good quality. At the time I bought it it was new to market & the best sub 250g available. The video & photo quality is incredible for something so small. If I was buying now I’d get the mini 3.

Had the Mini 2 for a while now and think its great, can handle a fair amount of wind and is fairly fast in sport mode flight time is good to but I bought the upgrade pack with the three batteries so potentially a flight time of approx one and a half hours is possible Gimble is rock steady and camera i really good for this class of drone. Software updates are regular too. I have a few drones but this one is def the best. If you can go for the 3 then you might as well as it has a few extra features. Tried to upload a vid but its not having it but def a good buy.
