Beinn Dearg!Which one?
On the bike that's hiding behind the van, I hope!Beinn Dearg!
(I bagged Beinn Dearg (near Ullapool) and another 3 late weekend - so it made a great sequel!)
There is an impostor in the ranks!
You’re doing all my local sites I’ve never been to! I thought the field there was just for tents?
That field is for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and the vehicles are the staff/instructors supervising them. The photo was before the kids arrived and put up their tents. We used the vans to form a perimeter for our bit of the field! The site brings in portaloos and water bowsers as the kids aren't allowed to use the site facilities! You’re doing all my local sites I’ve never been to! I thought the field there was just for tents?
That'll be us in a month!Travelling north through the Outer Hebrides, now on Harris. It’s one of the few areas of Scotland that I haven’t visited so it was a ‘must do’ for me and well worth the journey. Four ferry crossings and lots of causeways. A remarkable vista of landscape, sea and beaches.
