How busy is the NC500 at the moment? We’re looking to do it next year. Following the general advice of go early or later in the season and avoid the crowds of midges and people and vans we’ve not yet decided whether to take a few weeks off April/May or September/October.

It's just right for us - reasonably quiet and no midges! We have just come onto Skye and much more traffic here although I now understand that the kiddiwinks have two weeks off before easter this year so people holidaying earlier perhaps with the good weather
