How busy is the NC500 at the moment? We’re looking to do it next year. Following the general advice of go early or later in the season and avoid the crowds of midges and people and vans we’ve not yet decided whether to take a few weeks off April/May or September/October.

It's just right for us - reasonably quiet and no midges! Yes. If we go early on we’ll plan to avoid school holidays. We’ll have to be careful to check both Scottish and English school holidays as they are often different (or at least the summer holidays are).
Silverstone - GP circuit. Fastest in free practice, Qualfied P1 by 0.260 sec! Lead race all the way. 4 mins to go - engine issues!! Mega disappointing- second race with no result - hey ho Brands Hatch next.
Took all the kit for a youth bike race (organising rather than riding) in the van in the morning, then a quick blast down the Ice Cream Run in the afternoon.

We've had a peaceful night over at the other car park not too long ago. Not far to go, but far enough to be away from the rest of the world

I’m up there a lot every year fishing.
It’s my Kirriemuir fishing club water.
I can fish from Gella bridge down to Cortachy and I can fish the Rottal estate water above the bridge for a few miles.
It’s lovely up there and 40 mins from my house.
