Window wipes missing, what do I use in their place

Morning All,

So my THQ fake rear quarter panel windows have just arrived albeit with no glass primer wipes in the fitting kit.

As THQ are closed can anyone suggest an alternative to use in place of the missing wipes?

Thanks for any help
 
Kills me to refer anyone to Halfords...but convenience on a Saturday etc....they do paint prep wipes
 
So would plain alcohol wipes be upto the task?
 
Cheers chaps, off to screwfix or Halfords I guess.

its just to de -grease or more like de - wax the panel so the adhesive gets a good key . . .

Will this do?

My wife’s nail prep and polish work fluid. Although it also says water and parfum/fragrance. :thumbsup::sneaky::whistle::oops:

Saves me an hour going to Halfords if it will.

All of the above and the fake windows. Packaging was some of the best I have ever seen. :thumbsup:
 
The fitting kit box has been replaced by a plastic bag which is most likely why the wipes were missed off the kit.

Thank you for clarifying “nail stuff”. That you felt you needed to does suggest that you have rummaged through her make-up before! That’s ok too as we are an inclusive bunch here. Push that door, it’s open!
