...but no error , i saw something strange, i have no boost on intercooler pipes, when i accelerate there is no pressure.
engine dont stop if i block egrpipe.
i send turbos to a professional turbo garage (no issues).
what can be issue on that ?
someone said that Nr.18 can be issue . can be ?
Hi, I had the insufficient flow fault on my 102 T6 a few years ago. I thought fair enough 50k on the clock. Not overly pleased but was expecting it at some point and so had the EGR valve and cooler replaced using OEM parts.
What's really annoying is that after only two years and 14k it's...
With the EGRpipes I think he said £435 is worse case scenario, can’t remember the reasoning why it might be cheaper as I was in shock from the list of work needed.
They did the cam belt change back in 2021, they said needs changing every 60k or 4-5 years whichever comes sooner.
When the last one went it was put to me that the DPF being blocked would have caused a back pressure causing the bearings to fail. It took out the intake manifold at the same time last time it had a recent (last year) egr as was solid I have found oil in the boost pipes so far will have the...
Battery is reading at 14.9 when idling and 12.3 when off .
Went into garage and I have a small split in the long EGRpipe - so new one ordered . Could this potentially cause this fault ?
I need a new rear EGRpipe for my 2017 t6 102hp as the present one has developed the common problem, crack in the corrugated section. Genuine VW part is £160 ! was £40 4 years ago ! It's now modified to be stronger.
Question is do I get genuine VW pipe or an eBay one which is £40 ?
In theory I...
Hello i have some problem with my t6 2018 CHXA after replace Egr+cooler and the pipe on the backside. after a Quick drive like 3-6km i get 2 faulty codes
P4020
P0101
What can cause this problem?
Hi,
I just removed the corrugated pipe leaving the egr valve. It had water laying in it, enough to completely soak a sheet of kitchen role.
It wasn't pink like my coolant, which is strange. It seemed to be too much for condensate.
Should the egr valve be dry and sooty at all times?
For the last few months my van seemingly randomly goes into limp mode, without and apparent pattern. OBDeleven throws up many and varied fault codes, mostly relating to turbo underboost (p0299, p0236) and intake air system leaks (p2279). I have never had time to fully investigate when the fault...
Well, it's EGR time again!
I bought the van nearly 5 years ago at ~99000 miles. I'm sure I saw a receipt for a new EGR' in the paperwork but I can't find it now. Either way, the date of manufacture of the old (aftermarket) EGR is 2018 and the van (Euro 5, 140) was registered in January 2016...
...hard to be certain. The van had an EGR insufficient flow error code so I assumed it might be linked to this, having done some research. The EGRpipe was partially blocked and the cooler was also fairly clogged, so I opted for an EGR delete (blocked off pipe) and got it coded out.
However the...
Did they even ask if cambelts been changed?
I had egrpipe replaced on last van for not much over £250 if I remember rightly and a full service for just over £300 using all genuine parts from my local indie
I’d be picking van up and moving on for another inspection and quote
Had to buy another for mine. Haven't done it yet this time. Its the revised one15 months old it has a hole at the inlet manifold end. Where the brass weld is there's a pin p***k hole blowing. I noticed from smell so checked and it is all black around it. Took it into work and smoke tested it...
you sure its not a split EGRpipe in the engine bay? (final exhaust fuses shouldnt smell very bad due to the cat and dpf)
but the EGRpipe splitting is a very common issue . . . and yours is a 2018 so prime candidate.
I've had mine done on bot 2018 and 2017 vans...
