While oil leakes are not covered. Which I think is a bit bad really.
They all in extendedwarranty is still worth considering.
We've had dual mass flyer wheel, EGR cooler, EGR pipe, all replaced under warranty.
Over £2k worth of work.
Did they give you the flow rates before and after?.... They may do if you ask.?
Because if after a flush or two, if it still fails the flow rate then it's new EGR time.
I had the same on the van...... failed two flushes, so replacement was fitted. (Under extendedwarranty)
...was a fault in the wiring behind the right rear light cluster, and that they wouldn't repair the fault as it wasn't covered by the extendedwarranty, I went to pick the van up and the lassie said you don't have to pay anything do you? I said noooo. and she handed me the keys said its all...
Oil leaks are not covered under the ALL-IN plan.
But are covered under the Factory Extendedwarranty.
As you mentioned MOT well assum you have the ALL-IN cover.
Crankshaft main seal is a common item to need addressing. (Had mine done at 60k under factory warranty)
Have they quoted you for it...
Presumably it’s still under the 3 year factory warranty which should be transferred to you. You can’t have an extendedwarranty on a vehicle that already has a warranty on it. The extendedwarranty is only available on vehicles over 3 years old & that are out of warranty.
But this can't be whats happened to mine, why would it run fine after initial lumpiness? surely it would cause more issues as the RPM increased?
would this be covered under extendedwarranty? as the pump is after the filter, nothing to stop it?
Thanks
Just been quoted £43 for the All in 1 plan. My last plan finished 3 March but no contact from VW about renewal.
Has anyone looked at arranging Roadside Recovery and ExtendedWarranty with other companies out there?
...first thing this morning (before the Carista arrived) she said it would be £200 diagnostic fee unless it’s covered by all-in extendedwarranty.
My question is do you guys think all-in extendedwarranty will cover this work with it being an engine component? If not I’d rather sack off the...
Just had mine go on a 2019 van too with 20,000 miles on it. Covered by manu. 5 yr. warranty -luckily - which i took out after 90 days of purchase thanks to reading all the stuff on the forums otherwise I would waited until near the end of yr 3 and tried to extend it and not qualified !
My MAN TGE (VW Crafter with different badges) reports that the Telematics battery is low, my dealer says that it is not replaceable and the whole unit will need changing. Not my problem as the vehicle has an extendedwarranty!
I also have the extendedwarranty(all in plan) A Shuttle with 22,000 miles had a yellow warning light (emissions-related issue) it isn't covered under the plan, the dealer
CordWallis has quoted me £1121.88 for an EGR flush, who did you contact at VW ?
ALL-IN is a two year deal,
and i think the van needs to be under 6 years old to get ie in years5-6. and under 100k miles

Err.....hope not. My T6 18 plate booked for next week in Edinburgh. Got a squeaky pulley tensioner. Hoping they will fix that under the extendedwarranty. On 35k on the clock so engine not that old.
By the way (without being picky) NOx sensor not Knox...
Shorthand for nitrous oxide.
I didn’t ask but he did say that they are finding VW expect them to carry out up to 5 flushes before they will change the egr under warranty which the service manager agreed was nonsense as on a new van this would probably see off any warranty period!!!
