BK Rims supplied with non-standard tyres fitted but still ex stock & delivered the very next day.
235x50 specified (as opposed to std 255x45) in the hope that the reduced width would lessen the effect on the fuel consumption, & the greater profile would look better on the stock ride height, offer more protection from kerbing, & maintain the same ride compliance.
The very budget tyres were a concern, but actually they're fine, as I don't drive the van hard, & I may upgrade slightly when these are eventually scrubbed off.
The reduced ET40 Offset still sits in the arch OK, with no signs of any adverse effects on tyre wear after 5000 miles. The paint finish remains good after the winter too.
The speedo' is now exactly where it should be according to my sat nav', rather reading high as it does on the stock 16" 65 profile tyres.
Overall, these were great value at £650 inc' tyres, & they are the perfect compromise for me over the standard Clayton 16" rims. I hope this helps anyone entering the load rated wheel minefield with similar requirements & practicalities.

Momo Revenge 18s with 255 45 18 Budgetmeister Ditchfinder tyres and B14s set at Defcon 4 rather than 3.

Tourershine pointed out in another similar thread that the amount of offset on a wheel or the addition of spacers can add dramatically to how low or aggressive the ride height appears.

@Stay Frosty nice, cant see the point in running 20s when 18s at the right height look sweet. What height is defcon 4 for us civis! What ET are the momos?

Running 8jx18 ET45 sooo much better than 6.5jx16 ET51

Defcon 4 is a pretty mild lowering with about the same amount of thread visible either side of the locking collar on the front struts, there's less range on the rear springs and I've got the van sitting slightly tail high to allow for it being a camper and getting heavier when chock full of crap.

ET is 45 with an 8" rim, I'm going to get the thicker ARBs next as hurtling through bends is becoming addictive!

Bottom image is 19" Savini's on 30mm drop
Top is again 19" Banded steels B14 on lowest setting.

I personally think 19" is the best compromise between too small, and too big, but they are not an easy tyre to get in a load rating compared to 18, and 20" wheels.

I'm a noob at the T6 life.

So these (Top) are Amarok steel standard wheel? They have been widened in the rear?

if so what are the widths etc? How much have you lowered it?

Looks great.

Welcome to the forum.

They aren't Amaroks, they are 19" Range rover space savers that have been banded to 10" rear and 9" fronts. Not an easy wheel to find anymore, but if you hunt hard enough, there are sometimes a set here and there, though I'm not sure about your side of the world.
Also, the quality and fitment is often inconsistent depending on who banded them, but mine are Dutchy banded steels, and his work is top notch.

I had an Australian guy come up to me a while back, asking about my wheels. He was telling me he hasn't seen anything like mine in Oz

As for lowering, it's Bilstein B14's on lowest setting.

Thanks.
Whats the ride quality like on the Bilsteins at that ride height?

What year model Range Rover? Any other 19" options anyone is aware of?

Yes Banding is illegal in Australia it seems. I will get new barrels.

Cheers all.

The ride is stiff, but you get used to it.
The fun you can have with the handling far outweighs the slight compromise on comfort.

Banded steels are also a Grey area in the UK, but yet many people run them.
