I found the rubber soft on the grabbers, had a few sharp rocks puncture between the tread blocks they are quite wide apart. But it was up a mountain in Corsica.

Cool the data sheet looked ok considering the design. Any advice on pressures to run (t30 kombi) thanks!

Fitted and quick test drive all seems good, takes harshness out of H&R 40mm lowered springs. No rubbing yet but big test will be when the bike is in the back!
Lovely, knobbly tastic!

I love that look @Roca1976
Just needs a short roof rack with a spare wheel on top, some big chunky bars down the side and a Black snorkel.

Nowt wrong with that.

If your after market 20" wheel had the same ET as a VW factory wheel 18". I would have thought 5 mm max on the front; and 20mm max on the rear; But there will be other members on this forum who can advise you better than I, never having run anything bigger than 255's, and that was on a T5.
Do you now your wheels ET off-sets?

@chriscroft I don't know the ET. I'm also going to fit wheel arch protectors so I'll wait and see what clearance there is.

I'm trying to make the most of the wheels I already have:

1. 20" fitted with 275/40/20 - currently the wheel has a diamond cut finish which has started to corrode....I'm having them powder coated matt black. I will fit these wheels as my standard motorway everyday wheel. They will be fitted 80% of the time.

2. 17" Devonports fitted with 225/65/17 BF Goodrich AT Ko2- powder coated Matt Black.

@Roca1976 do you mind telling us the brand, company you got the wheels off and total cist with tyres.. coz they look absolutely awesome
