Set of mat black alloys ordered in 17in
Going to fit the Goodrich 225 65 17

going for the off road look. Some nice examples at camperjam.

Those tires look the bomb, did you manage to get a spare in the wheel well?

Oddly they turned up without the white writing so we had great fun painting those with a tyre pen (which seems suspiciously like tipex) last night.

Too strong!!
even mine are without white writing, maybe better with my black iron rims ... they are less flashy ..... but anyway everyone looks at them amazed !!

and they ask me how they behave these tires, .... maybe they will be the next tires for other fans !!
..... not everyone knew them ...

..no .... I do not want to lower, my Ocean is already quite low, especially behind with springs and shock absorbers original .. I saw yesterday a 4motion with upside shift Seikel ... very interesting ... but then they exceed 2 meters in height and for me it is too ..

We finally needed some new tyres :) Will get some better pics when we head out somewhere cool...

They look so much nicer than normal

I've got a set of 17" steels for this exact job. They were going to be banded like my summer wheels, but we worked out that there wasn't a tyre available in the size required to achieve the same rolling diameter, so sticking with the steels as they come and going the same route as you've done.
How do they actually feel on the road? I'm expecting a big difference from my summer set-up but the fact I can use these babies in the snow, and through the standard winter pot hole situation, it's worth it.

Picking my new black alloys up today 17in then will get the Goodrich fitted before bus fest. Going to put on a bulbar and side bars in black.

now I have walked a few miles and I can give my opinion ...... I feel like a child when I go to look for dirt roads .... the grip and excellent traction and braking .., on the asphalt are noisy in a range between 25-40 mph but the security of being able to deal without problems all situations is priceless !! ....

Sooo. The question is do I get the Tipex out and colour in the tire wall
