Do the tyres rub at all? with the 40mm drop
Do the Warlord's have a greater offset (smaller ET), than the standard VW wheels?, or do you run spacers?

No rubbing at all, but trying to decide if it will look better with a little more gap above the wheel with this tyre ?
I’m not sure on the offset I’ll check the boxes for info, I took advice from LK performance, who I got great service from.

Iv not got spacers on yet, but I’m thinking about some small spacers, as I’m used to seeing the 20s with 275s on the van! And these sit a little further under the arch.

I've got a 20mm drop with 25mm spacers all round with 235/60/17's (same radius as 235/55/18's), all seems to work well on mine, never rubbed yet.
But I think I'll go the 18" route, because well...., they just look better:thumbsup::thumbsup: imo.

Struggling to decide on tyres for my Kombi t32 4motion, Want that meaty AT look but also want to be able to drive 90 - 100 for skiing without needing ear plugs other than wife moaning! , still running original good years at moment on 17 Devonports, interesting reading post and looking at pics, looks like choice between BFG or general Grabber? not fussed on economy, but want a stable tyre at speed.
Advice or Guidance would be much appreciated
James

Awesome stuff on here! I've just bought a t30 and looking to sort the wheels out, wanting to go with some Delta Avventura 17s and AT3 tyres. 235/55s are ideal for the rims, but the load rating on that size AT3s is only 99!? How have you guys got around it? First post so go easy if I sound stupid! Dan

Cooper did a 235/60/17; slightly larger rolling radius/diameter but it had a higher load rating. This tyre has been discontinued
You may need to mover to 235/55/18 , with 18" wheels, if you want to go down this route.

I’ve been developing an off road tyre Davanti Terratoura it’s one of only 7 All terrain tyres which also has the approval for winter use it’s very good used an Amarok rather than T6 but works really well on the road too used the known brands as reference and beat them in all areas also has the Davanti tyre life guarantee where if you get a puncture they assist with replacement tyre cost
