Sooo. The question is do I get the Tipex out and colour in the tire wall

Nah, i like them as they are, having said that i always turn my tires so the white is on the inside on my 4WD's

Did you get a spare? and does it fit in the tire well

No didn't get a spare so can't comment.

Loving the tyres. Ride is firmer with less nose diving on speed bumps etc. Suits the standard suspension perfectly. Look sexy too :sneaky:

Ronnie, They are brilliant. Quiet and at the speeds generally achieved theres no noticable drop in fuel consumption. I do about 30k miles a year and do 2 trips to Portugal each year. 50 degrees this year through Spain and didnt take the needle off 100mph for hours on end. 100% confident in the tyre.
Off road id challenge any other tyre against these.
Go for them......

They look very cool. Have you tried fitting one in the spare space? My BFG’s won’t go without too much mucking about. I’m planning on carrying one onboard. Just asking for reference.

Andy,
I got mine from Circumference Wheels in Walsall, West Midland. I see youre from Glasgow though....
Duncan at Circumference knows more about wheels than the wheel manufacturers themselves...hes forgot more than most know!!
Costs were £135.75 each and the tyres (i cant remember) but Openeo were the same price as my local tyre fitter who i went to in the end.
BE aware though, mine wouldnt fit in the spare wheel carrier even on the lowest setting. I had the local blacksmith add a 20mm section to cradle to the height both front and back and that worked a treat.
Tyres are lasting well ( i put a lengthy review somewhere on the forum)
Duncan would post them but that may throw the cost out.
Try the forum delivery service too. I could get them from Walsall for you no problem, and get the tyres fitted etc if you wanted.
Best of luck and dont forget the photos!!

Danny why did you not go with 235/60/18 as doesn’t appear to be much more Speedo error than the 55s?
