Anyone running these Black Rhino wheels? Have a bit of a Amarok Steel look about them, and easy cleaning :)

I did consider those but I think I'm going to go with KMC Holeshots. I really like the Twin Monotube Project ones but the price is just that bit too salty for me. I'm going to get my B14s lifted as high as they'll go and see if I can cope with driving like that as a final test before I splurge. I must be setting some kind of record on here, my van is 10 days off its 4th birthday and I'm only now about to get my first new set of wheels :D

If you like the twin Monotube ones have you seen the Fuel Zephyrs? Look very similar but a lot less harmful to the wallet. I have read quite a few posts about quality issues with the holeshots.

I can vouch for the zephyrs being a fine wheel, i think all swamper style alloys look great though. I have also read lots of posts on fb about the paint/laquer quality of the holeshots too.

Have you got any links about the problems with Holeshots? I googled yesterday when I was trying to make up my mind and didn’t find any negatives but I don’t want to let myself in for a load of trouble!

Edit: Ah I’ve just seen you mentioned FB, I’m not on there cos I’m allergic to it.

I'll try and dig out the thread on there and take a few screenshots for you

I must admit I love loads of the Fuel Off-Road wheels. Most of them not available for us. I think Covert are my favourites:

Hmm yes I have now found this on the Cali club site Winter mode activated...

The op also has that size wheel/tyre that I want on B14s at their highest too and I must admit I thought there’d be a bit more clearance. I may need to look at new suspension options too, it soon snowballs doesn’t it.

Glad you found it. Typically,i can't find it on facebook now. His van looks awesome, i follow him in IG, thats where i first got the love for lowered vans on swamper wheels. I've got fuel zephhrs on my van lowered 75-80mm no issues at all, just comes down to tyre size.

I want 235/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT+
What I liked about the Holeshots was the visible bright bolt heads on the faux bead lockers. I might go back to the drawing board now.

Yes they are a great looking wheel, not sure of any other wheels that have that look other than maybe the wolfrace ones, (think you can get black or silver studs) posted further up in this thread...

I like them but they're not quite what I want. I think it's going to come down to whether I take the risk on the Holeshots and maybe being lucky or maybe not, or blow an extra grand on getting the ones I really want. Slightly concerned if I got the Twin Monotubes that I'd be paranoid about them being nicked and terrified of kerbing them.

ETA: It's also really difficult imagining what a van looks like with them on with tyres from a picture of a bare wheel.

I agree, its hard to imagine From a pic of the wheel alone.
isn’t the point of the twin monotubes you can replace the ’rim’ if they get damaged.

It’s certainly one advantage. I’d probably end up buying half a dozen spares because a scratch would stand out a mile. Maybe black coated 17” steels would stop me being too precious about them. I wade through pot hole tracks and fields and clamber over rocks with my Devonports on lowered suspension, it’d be a bit ironic if I get proper off road wheels and tyres but I’m scared to go over anything rough in case I damage them
