Are you happy with your t6.1 startline?

I lucked out and picked up factory painted Ascot grey front and rear bumpers from Leighton vans for £150! About an hour to fit so not that complicated!
How much of a job was it to replace the bumpers . I have a t6.1 startline 24plate and want these black bumpers gone lol .
I see highline front bumpers indium grey with delivery miles advertised but no grill , what do you need altogether ? If you get a chance to reply that would be great . Ricky

Very happy with mine.

In the end the choice for me came down to two vans of the same age and similar mileage, both Redline conversions. Both priced within 3 grand of each other.

One was a Highline with a lower spec conversion (no night heater, awning, etc)

The other was the Startline+Business Pack with a higher spec conversion

I went for the Startline. Grey bumpers worry me not one jot because its a Swamper anyway, metallic paint doesn't get me to the campsite any quicker and can be an expensive liability to match if damaged. With the BP I had cruise, parking sensors, alarm, autonomous braking, aircon, etc, so there was little meaningful difference in the technical spec anyway, so the Startline it was. Don't regret it a bit.

If I were 30 years younger and into 20 inch alloys and suspension slammed to the ground the the paint and bumpers on the Highline might have swung me that way, but I'm not. Being a grown up practically wins it for me hands down every time.

It's a very easy job. Look up Transporter Hq on youtube and they give an indepth look at how to remove/refit the bumper

In my case I originally had a nicely painted Startline one piece bumper/grille, but had no foglights. I sourced a delivery mileage highline bumper from a local conversion place in Coventry, a black gloss grille from a wonderful forum member and the rest from LV. Foglights again sourced on here (the benefit of VIP membership, worth £12.99 a year). I didn't fancy coding the fogs and the new loom and light switch required, so naturally I cheated and had the lot done by a local company of repute.
Very happy with my Startline Poverty model that now looks like a highline. The 5 speed gearbox has been upgraded to 6 speed with the addition of an illuminated 6 speed gear knob! I did that!
Should the bumper need to come off again, I reckon I would have a go, the online videos make it look quite possible for a donut like me.
