Thanks for all the pics mate much appreciated. So I now get all the wires coming off the seats. The bit I have always wondered is where people wire into on the van wiring side. Does the passenger seat fuse box already have a supply there that is sufficient
I used a fuse tap from a heavy permanent live fuse into a relay which is switched on from an ignition feed so the seat can only work when ignition is on if you want it to work all the time don’t use the relay.
If I lived closer ( I am in Bognor Regis) I would give you a hand I should say I am not an auto electrician but I have learned stuff over the years by learning the hard way.
Ok time for some updates as I struggle with seats….
I manage to fit passengers side (all wires was cut out on this one) as forward/backwards was working directly from 12v cable rest that’s different story, driver seat was in better shape in terms of wiring and I try connect red plug (brown plus red) to 12v and ground but nothing working…? And either I’m a bum or seat it’s not working at all… any ideas welcome might try do same as on passenger seat and connect directly to motor that way at last will be able to fit them for now….buy cheap buy twice ehhh
Update connected directly to motor and it’s working now I can install driver seat but still need to sort out why doses work when connecting main loop to power
Thank you ye your as far as could be to go
I will figure out soon or late for now I will instal them only and set up correctly.
If I’m unable to make it work as should I might find someone to help or do my own switches with relays to change polarity etc. just was watching some yt how that works
