(Joke!) in reality I’m a bottom dweller and send people for check ups from the neck up.

My great grandfather started the Acton Pill and Tablet Company. Basically he was a quack when it wasn’t illicit. Two of his sons were travelling salesmen conning vulnerable people into the benefits of the product. They must have been good at it too as Fred Barnes had a big family and was quite well off. Shame it never filtered down to my side of the family.

Apparently he was a godfather of his dynasty. Always wore a suit, even on the beach. As in this picture. I can just remember meeting him before he died but only learnt from my mother and grandmother how much of a domineering and frightening character he was.
