Camper Jam

I have a normal household 32 inch that we don't use. I'm having a leisure battery installed next week by @travelvolts with an inverter. Will a 300 w inverter run a household tv? If so then all I need is an arial.

Just answered my own question its 115w so should be ok. No idea how long it will last on the leisure battery though. Anyone ?

Yawn-a-Rama, football.

However, @Lord Mfwic, because i’m such a fine sort of chap, since I have a solar panel hooked up to my system, I could always take one for the team and let you run it off my system should you need to.

Recommends for a very good mobile freeview arial required please. Or anyone who already has one who can bring it along?
Bear in mind there are lots of trees.

I wonder if the unit that @Loz has would work? Shame he’s not going though.

I’ve just bought a usb powered mobile aerial that gets good reviews. We’ll find out next week!

Might be struggling to arrive on Fri. Sat morning more likely depends on the family.

I meant that I’ll be bringing it with me so we’ll be able to see if it’s any good but here’s the link

Looks a good piece of kit. If you're happy to bring it with you that will be great.

Well the TV has been running now for over 5 hrs off my mobile battery pack so shouldn't be an issue for the games over the weekend.
Don't think Lady Mfwic will be too pleased with me watching all the games so will probably be just the England game for me but happy to loan the TV to anyone who wants to watch the others.
This time next week the fun begins.

Whoever does get to our pitch first please consider the best direction for all members..
A hollow square.. with majority of awnings on left.
If the weather is good then a event shelter maybe used for cumunital (sp) area.

You’ve clearly put some thought into that, bet you have a sketch and everything. Is it to scale?

I think a sketch or plan is a good idea. 20 vans turning up without any thought for how we are all going to fit is a recipe for disaster.
Also, I could bring my event tent that i used to use as an awning to use as a communal shelter if anyone things its a good idea.
Nothing wrong with planning chaps.
