Whoever does get to our pitch first please consider the best direction for all members..
A hollow square.. with majority of awnings on left.
If the weather is good then a event shelter maybe used for cumunital (sp) area.
I'll try to ring them tomorrow and see if they can give any info of shape allocated etc.Unless we know the shape and dimensions of the pitch allocated to us we probably won’t be able to do too much planning until we get there. Also, those of us with solar panels will want to orientate to get the most of the sun.

Thanks for the offer of local advice -
My son-in-law is joining me but I couldn't get him vehicle access / parking on site. Can you recommend a local spot to park which will be within walking distance to the gates?
Can't he park in the day visitors area. I doubt they have authority to issue parking tickets or tow away and if he's paid the day visitor parking charge then I don't see an issue.@Pete C

Do we know the overall dimensions of our area? Or how many plots are in a row ?Camper jam plot sizes are 6x7..we have 22 of these.. they are marked out in rows but CJ's only request is we stay within out club area.. the parking arrangments after that is upto us.
It’s not just the size of our area - we would also need to know what borders it, eg. can we pitch right up to the edge of our plots or will there be another club’s vans trying to do the same - need to keep a safe distance between all vans, etc., especially with the hot weather and very dry ground.Do we know the overall dimensions of our area? I still think we need a plan. Otherwise 20 vans turning up, those who are late will struggle to find the room which is what happened at Busfest. Granted we all squeezed on but its just a suggestion. I did email them this morning asking if they had a layout but have had no reply as yet. It’s not just the size of our area - we would also need to know what borders it, eg. can we pitch right up to the edge of our plots or will there be another club’s vans trying to do the same - need to keep a safe distance between all vans, etc., especially with the hot weather and very dry ground.
Problem at Busfest was the pitches weren’t marked out with the area - sounds like we have marked pitches which will make it easier to see if you are using more than your allotted area.I still think we need a plan. I didn't realise we had marked out bays, thats a lot more sensible.Problem at Busfest was the pitches weren’t marked out with the area - sounds like we have marked pitches which will make it easier to see if you are using more than your allotted area.
Nor did I before @Fish post above but it should make it a lot easier.I didn't realise we had marked out bays, thats a lot more sensible.
I was planning on bringing my event tent to use for the football for anyone who wants to watch the games. I'll pack it in the van and if we don't use/need it its not an issue but its there if we do.Nor did I before @Fish post above but it should make it a lot easier.
For info; I'm not planning on taking an awning or shelter other than my Fiamma - was at a festival over the weekend - I took my Air Hub Hex and put it up between a group of vans but we didn't really use it.
