Goodmorning everyone,
something a little strange .. I bought everything necessary to change the engine oil of my Cali Ocean 150 hp manual transmission of the 2017 ... with the chassis number I received an immersion type oil filter, which should be found on the back of the engine ... even today I looked good but I could not find the housing of the oil filter! ... I seem to be an idiot ... the filter is perhaps under the engine and is' those a cartridge? ... how do I know the code of my engine? .. you help me thanks !,

Your engine code is on a sticker under dash near by to your left knee (LHD vehicle). Most likely it is CXHA. Also partially printed on top of timing belt cover (CXH...) next to oil filler tube.

EDIT: 150 ps Oil filter location

is the filter of the immersion type? behind the engine?27DE5FD8-D8AC-40B1-B72A-E728097D2099.jpegBA8DA267-9DAB-4A9F-A332-882641EC099D.jpeg

All T6 diesels have a paper cartridge style filter with the exception of the euro 5 180ps engine which uses a traditional metal screw on canister type

.. Access to the filter is easier from below, after removing the underbody protection? I can not even see the filter from above ...

Indeed there are two variants of 150PS engines: CXHA and CXFA. The difference being that the latter has balancer shafts in the cylinder block. More on page 7 in The T6 2.0L TDi SSP-564
So oil filter and location are same for both. Actually the picture above is CXFA engine + DSG.
Have to admit that I didn't expect to see CXFA engine combined with manual transmission, perhaps it's the California deal.

Yes, a lot easier from below.

The code of your engine can be read directly from Instrument Cluster display.
No tools are required to do that.

Just switch ignition ON and hold SET button pressed for 10 seconds.

See below.
