EPB Retrofit ... the way to Stop & Go

Small question, do any have experience with hidden ACC radar behind bumper plastic or do you to the visual with the designated plastic arround it? Bosch claims it will work behind Bumper plastic
There was discussion on this matter here, have a read to the end of that thread.
And regarding ACC @dnoermann is your expert.

MK60EC1 has easy Hill Hold done, I have this for years, not sure if thats the same as Auto Hold.

Sadly Hill Hold is not the Same as Auto-Hold.
MK100 version for T6 does not support Auto-Hold, as far as we now.
This unit is only installed in T6 and Caddy, and there from Factory this feature is not available, so we can not copy it so easy.
For Autohold you need the Button to enable it in ABS.
And
- the Pins on ABS are not known
- The coding on ABS is not known, and i tried all possibly codings already, no coding is triggering an eror like "Autohold Button not connected"
- so it is likely that T6 MK100 does have Autohold deactivated in Software.

No experience, most people not driving a T6, put it under the Special ACC VW Badge.
But that is the Big advantage for the T6, here the ACC is directly exposed to the Front.
That looks a bit bad, but only T6 version of 7N ACC does have the Heater unit in it enabled, and so the ACC is working in Snow perfectly.
With the VW Badge in front you get Snow and Ice There, and than ACC stops working ...

I don't like the shape of this Passat NMS switch.
Also there is no surrounding trim so it might be hard to mount it in position and make it look good.
I always loved the EPB on my Sharan 7N, (location, shape, width and its functionality)!

I don't know if I am going to succeed but I already bought one.
Electronics in these two are different but I am going to try modify it anyway.

Thanks Dennis, highly appreciate all your knowledge sharing, I will run it like the T6 on my Audi.

Did you try this @dnoermann Enable Auto Hold in Neutral (VW Golf GTI MK7 DSG - 2016) | Ross-Tech Forums (ross-tech.com)

You can try setting Bit 0 and 1 in Byte 25 of the ABS module to "01". So Bit 0 enabled, bit 1 disabled. Just a wild guess, but worth a try.

Thanks but there are only 19 Bytes on T6 MK100 ABS unit.

Yes indeed, Tiguan AD1 EPB switch is electronically identical to the Passat NMS unit , thanks again!
Also pinout numbering seems to be the same:grin bounce:, so the plug could be direct match .

Does anyone have a dataset to flash to the t6 radar I have a incorrect placement dtc i want to try with other dataset

Great then you got your Sharan Switch :)
I think I am starting to be lucky, which is very unusual for me.
Initally I was intending to buy Sharan EPB switch. Went ahead and bought one but when I got it I realised that it actually is a Tiguan variant:grin bounce:.
Seller has messed up his listing and put incorrect description, what a coincidence :D.

Just double checked and I have got these.
sharan_acc_7n0907572a.zdc
sharan_acc_7n0907572c.zdc
Unfortunately VCP introduced additional level of encryption
and now only interface associated with original download
can perform successful upload to the module.
Maybe @dnoermann would have some suggestions for you .

I have the ODIS-E files but I'm pretty sure my problem is that the car I'm putting this into is a Audi and a VW dataset seems to be the issue. In my Touran it works. I found a place where instructions where given how to modify these parameters on the radar and I'm pretty sure it was on this very forum. I can simply not find it anymore.

I posted this, some weeks agoe in VCP Forum.
In Dataset, between Offset 0x1A to 0x23 there are the valid Car Types (Position 7 and 8 of VIN) as Ascii Encoded.
After changing this, you need to calculate CRC32 newly, Last 4 Bytes
