Hi all

After some advice I had a 67plate VW T6 2.0 Bitdi T32 with CXEB engine and keep on having glow plug light flashing and lack of power/no boost. It resets it self when ignition switches off and on or fault deleted and seems to happen between 2000-3000RPM. I’m having fault code P00AF 00 16409 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Module, Performance. So have replaced one of the valves under the scuttle panel which is boost controller A but no change. I am planning on checking over all vacuum pipes today but has anyone else have any ideas. Was going to check turbo actuators but there is more than 1 does anyone also know what one is what.

Will watch this ….Had a Boost issue breakdown ..AA recovered to VW Heathrow ( not much help ) then I took it to VW Liverpool they did a road test with computer plugged in ..no faults…only advice was if happens again Don’t let anyone reset faults till they see it ( still has a year to run on extended warranty )
18 reg 204 T32 44500 miles….was driving it hard at the time….hope you find the cause..
Please post with any updates

Had a look this afternoon found hose rubbed through and split cut and joined deleted codes and checked fault still happens mine also happens when driving hard but I was towing caravan at the weekend and constantly occurred. Tried a friends auto-com to see if there was any checks to do on actuators but nothing not sure if it’s something you can do with vagcom.

Hi @Jcowan1989 ….thanks for replying…..can you post/picture exactly which hose was faulty..so I can pinpoint on my engine to investigate..many thanks :)…..

This is the pipe in picture it was just before T-piece but like I say it hasn’t cured it. Just hope it’s not a turbo. Have read on here that the actuators stick I think that’s what mine is doing but think it’s a new turbo.

Thank you ….fingers crossed it’s not the turbo as could prove expensive …..the last thing the Liverpool VC said mine pulls like a train…normally that’s a good sign….Just a case of seeing what happens next….Good luck :)

Hi @Jcowan1989 Same error code happened to me today. Engine code CXEB - same as yours. My Odometer: 126945 km - very close to yours.
I had a serious lack of power going up hills but seemed fine on the flat.
Saw @mmi response to a similar post. He said it would reset - which it did - so I continued on the final 84km to home in Sydney (Australia).
I have just started digging around to see if it is anything I can look at to diagnose the problem.
Please post any further finding and I will do likewise.
