First French trip, best location weather wise in September?

Looks like a lot better en suite than we had in France this year as our first experience of posh(er) camping. Which site is it?

Brilliant site out of season. Site closes this Sunday and there are about 4 motorhomes here and around 10 booked in chalets/caravans. Literally had all the pools to ourselves. Would be a horrible place during the main weeks. The private bathrooms look brand new for this year. Been fantastic. Great idea

Moved further north again. Stopped just past Saint-Quentin. A rather odd place full of brits either starting or end there break. Currently sitting out a thunder storm. Going to head for the coast tomorrow and see how many migrants we can fit in the van. Got a few jobs need doing around the house.

The coast west of Bordeaux has the most days of sunshine but anywhere around or south of Toulouse is very hot until late October, I’m in Toulouse now it’s 33
Sadly won't have time on this trip to venture over there. Looking are Calais or Dunkirk areas.

Respect....

We always pay a visit to the same WW1 Cemetary at Etreux where elements of Irish Guards and units had a last stand in the Retreat from Mons.
After the war, the area of the final stand, an orchard on the edge of town, was purchased for the British Cemetary. Its a beautiful peaceful place.
10 of the soldiers escaped the final battle and hid out for several weeks with the help of some local villagers but we're betrayed and captured. They were tortured and beaten over several days before being brutally beaten to death.

Just outside Calais for our last few days. Plan on exploring around Dunkirk and its history.

Is there a lawn mower in there? If so it had better be a sit on one with a lawn that size!
Well its the last few days of our French adventure so decided to splash out on an upgraded pitch. Plus the daughter had run out of data and this pitch came with free WiFi.

Sandaya premium pitch - van touching the hedge on one side and guy lines touching the bog the other side!

Camping Du Vivier Aux Carpes? I was on exactly the same pitch a few weeks ago. Great site for a stop over and the owner Alexandra speaks excellent english.
