I’m away from the office now til after Xmas but I think it was £96 + vat which is a per your price above, I will get a little bit of discount plus the postage (it’s quite large when boxed up) and I imagine it wouldnt save anything intact it may work out slightly more ??

Good work Skyliner33, certainly getting there on the search. Im still no where near finishing mine. The ebers is installed under the van but thats as far as I have got.
I’m going to pull the plug and order one when the parts are open again.
Just bought my OEM duct and associated accessories from TPS, less the grills. The grills were on back order so sourced them from eBay Poland.
As long as you have the part numbers you need, TPS are always happy to deal....

Have they started selling to the public again. the 2 TPS nearest me stopped, even if I went with part numbers? Which one do you go to, they might deal over the phone and post?
Kirknalls have the kit for £750 at the moment.

My mistake, Kirknalls are £790 for the D2L.
Its strange how the Bolton and Oldham both stopped selling to public on same day, saying company policy had tightened up and VW were on their case. Surprised it was different for Chester.
My local TPS - who I used for the tailgate conversion, gladly carried on emailing with me over the right part numbers for seat plastics. Only when I placed the order that the salesman said “we’re not supposed to sell to the public anymore so I’ll see what I can do”..
I don’t know what he done, but when I went to collect the parts, the paperwork just showed my name and I had no issue in paying with a card.
Maybe they’ve been told to aim higher than Joe Public by HQ, and that some of them are happy to take money from wherever it comes from?
Most TPS will sell on a cash account - sometimes it depends on who is working as they're not supposed to do it. There seems to be "reminders" issued every now and then to stop selling to the public - I presume as dealers complain as it eats their profit margins.
If you have a good relationship with your dealer and can convince them to give you some of their discount trim parts might be cheaper than TPS can do you on a cash account. Certainly some dealers can sell out things like carbon caps and other add on bits cheaper.

Part Number for the step is 7E5 863 736 RL AX and it is described as N/STK 553130/INSERT. Price £96.25.
