Well, they replaced the old Long Code helper with this new one - just enter your code into the box, either in hex or in binary. The "62" here. Can anyone explain why I do not have a third line where I change the codes? Attach photo.
Not a problem - I have been charting the unknowns and would have been an opportunity to fill in the blanks.Adaptation values is difficult as we live 3 hours apart. Unless there's a member closer that can plug in. Unless Carista or OBD11 can do the same?
Changed to LCode.exe but didn`t work for meWell, they replaced the old Long Code helper with this new one - just enter your code into the box, either in hex or in binary. The "62" here.

Or alternatively, use the old LCode helper - it's still in folder C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS as LCode-Classic.exe. Just rename it to "LCode.exe" and you're good to go.

I've ordered an OBD11 the new version when it arrives I'm going to ship it down to @T6_FunBus for him to use whilst we get to the bottom of it. He can then ship it back when he's doneNot a problem - I have been charting the unknowns and would have been an opportunity to fill in the blanks.
OBD11 can do the adaptations but extracting full map is a bit more involved.
Anyways, as in the T6 BCM the "codings" are partially "overflown" into adaptations would have been nice to verify no gremlins are hidden in the adaptations. E.g. the high beam assist retrofit had a few in there:

Hey, Just finished my HBA install. Pretty straightforward in the end so thought I'd post a how-to.. Can I say, I love the look of the Rimless mirror, very posh looking lol Cheers go out to @mmi for the comparison scans to see what changes needed to be made & @Robert Mirror purchased from a...www.t6forum.com
Can anyone explain why I do not have a third line where I change the codes?
Don’t make any difference what module i look into
I'm sorry but obviously I don't understand what's the actual problem. Could you please post an exact screenshot what you are trying to code - and missing the third line?Changed to LCode.exe but didn`t work for me
Isn't it a little strange that nothing should work? Everything is not controlled by 1 wire, is it?T6 LHD EURO6 2WD CCS on stalks 2016 mod.
Has a complete Polo steering wheel from 2016 with CNL button.
Remove wire 11 and move wire 26 to pin 11.
Draw two wires from pins 9 and 10.
Pin 10 goes to BCM dash pin 36 for MFSW LIN bus connection.
Pin 9 to black 12v ignition on. wire on main light switch.
Have not removed pins 27 to 31
ECU01
Byte 05 Bit 5
BCM09
Byte 09 Bit 3 set to 1
Byte 15 Bit 0 set to 1
Byte 17 Bit 2 set to 1
Byte 17 bit 7 set as 1
Byte 29 Bit 6 set to 1
Okay but then there must be something with pin 10-36. I'll try to change to paddle shift, but i do not think it has anything to do with itin 09 central electric go to coding there should be a drop down box for the paddle shifter coding should be something like B4FFFF, fairly certain at the beginning of this thread it says to change this if you have paddle shifters. Also i believe theres a mod you can do to make the paddles on a manual do speed +/- for cruise control.#
Yes 1 wire does all the comms for the wheel (LINbus) it's Pin 10 at the wheel 36 at the BCM tells the wheels lights on/off and wheel tells BCM speed+/- volume +/- etc
