Yeah, it’s a bit of a fight. Did you resort to using any lubricant? That and a fish tape sorted my cable out.View attachment 54509 done and dusted... phew how did others get on threading the cable ( and connector ) for the reverse camera through the rubber thingy that all the T6 tailgate cables come through?
View attachment 54510 YEP this b*****d thingy ! my god without some serious brute force i would have had to work out an entirely different route but i got it through in the end.. anyone else struggled with this or is there a simpler solution i was too stupid to realise ??
yes in the above shot you can see where I brought through the cable it's neat and easy to get at on the other side.Yeah, it’s a bit of a fight. Did you resort to using any lubricant? That and a fish tape sorted my cable out.
Finished result looks good. Where did your cable cone out from - the space between the number-plate lights?

Yep well I’m still amazed I got the reverse camera connector through at all it’s not small and it’s not a shape that is designed to slip easily through anything !! Let alone that heinous rubber conduit....I share your pain
I slid the rubber sleeve up as far as possible and taped some cord to the cable and then slid the sleeve the other way to retrieve the cord and used it to pull the cable through. This was just for a couple of 1mm cables I'm dreading doing the reversing camera.

pull out the rear light cluster and feed the cables down the void to the existing door loop area,
you can take out the rubber bung at the top to help fish a draw wire through,
then feed it through the existing cable loop to get into the inner door.

@osman I'm currently fitting a reversing camera to the tailgate in the same position as yours - however I'm struggling to get the cable from the camera to the flexible rubber sleeve at the top. I've used a fish tape but it keeps getting stuck. How did you do it? BTW yours looks a super neat job!Yep well I’m still amazed I got the reverse camera connector through at all it’s not small and it’s not a shape that is designed to slip easily through anything !! Total determination as I recall ! I kept the connector part close to the actual camera and brought the cable down from rubber sleeve through a channel and basically fished around for it until I got hold of it .. second time I did it recently for some led lights on the inside of the tail gate .. that time I used some silicon spray on the cable to get through rubber .. that was much easier but fishing for the wire through the tailgate cavity was a nightmare .. just patience persévérance and determination .@osman I'm currently fitting a reversing camera to the tailgate in the same position as yours - however I'm struggling to get the cable from the camera to the flexible rubber sleeve at the top. Sounds like I need to try a lot harder!! I'll try the silicone spray trick. Thanks.Total determination as I recall !
