So I’ve no idea where the 2 long black screws came from. But everything seems right.

Just been out to test the lights.

Yes I get bulb warning light on dash

Yes I get a slight dimming after a couple of seconds of starting the engine.

ok so now the mission is to find out how to get the light out....I've emailed Phillips direct as they state their canbus adaptors eliminate the warning....I've also email the company I bought them off and there willing for me to return them

I want to keep them as there so much better than halogen

Yes, that is the same CANBUS adaptor I tried (and returned) too. I figure that if I can work out the power consumption when the lights are on, then I can work out the parallel resistance needed and make my own ballast.

I put f2 led h7 in mine, standard vw lights though, fantastically bright and no lights on dash, sadly removed as with not being reflector headlights I couldn't get beam pattern right, an thinking main beam once I've got them coded up

Anyone else tried the 18952C2 CamBUS control unit? I'm getting occasional flicker on ignition and I'd dearly love to lose the dash warning light. Thinking I might try despite others failing.

Theres an instruction on removing the light somewhere on here from travelite

I bought the v2 from TransporterHQ and used h7 HIDs.
The difference is unreal over the h4 halogen unit .
No warning lights or dimming and a really good beam pattern of bright white light!

Hi guys,
Long shot given that this feed was before Xmas.
I’ve fitting some of Vanstyle’s DRL headlights but I really don’t like the Osram night breaker h7s. I’ve read this fee and I have used LED H4/7 on previous cars without problems. However 9/10 they are Chinese sh1te..
@Depron Donkey did you keep them fitted in the end or did they fail/cause faults?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
We put the LEDs in the van my lad uses and still working fine, done all winter. We even cut off the cooling fan from the main beam lights to get them in without leaving the covers off, didnt expect them to last but they have!!
The H7 and H1 style bulbs are better than H4 because the headlamp creates the beam, the H4 relies more on the emitted light been in the right place, difficult on LEDs as their mounted on a board rather than suspended in the center of the bulb.
DAB is effected very slightly to the stations with less power but fine with the nationals.
No fault idicated on this van but each van is different, even bulbs sold as error free can still throw faults up on the T6, my own van is one of those!
Dont buy the cheapest NightEye bulbs, we did try a few different ones and found the F2 brand to give the best flat beam pattern.
Someone on here found them for £30 on Amazon but dont know if that was a UK supplier.
My lad loves the lights, and would replace them again if one failed.

Amazing, thank you for your reply, much appreciated!

Hi Jimmy, I also have the V2 from TransporterHQ, which h7 HIDs did you go for?

Do you mean HIDs or LEDs?

I meant HIDs as the post from JimmyT6 said HIDs, or did he use LEDs
Yes that's what I'm trying to clarify. I haven't seen anyone put HIDs into any of these chinese aftermarket lights and I'm intrigued.

Me neither. I opted for the superwhite upgrade from TransporterHQ, but these are worse than the bog standard halogens (I think it is due to the high kelvin). I'm unsure where to go for upgraded halogens such as the Philips Racing Vision 150 or try the Philips Ultinon Gen 2 LEDs. For those that have them, are you pleased with the performance (light output coverage) despite the warning? On a T6. is it an actual warning light, or just a warning message on the dashboard display?

In the end my local converters coded it out for me and I'm happy now. The harness was never fitted. Still got it new in the box.

Sorry for the long reply men, but yes I have fitted a HID kit not LED.
I have an Audi A7 with genuine xenon headlights amd would say the van lights are now as good as the Audi. (Dimmed beam anyways)

What kit did you use?
