'Inspection Now' message

It could be worth a call to the stealers but I'm sure VW will happily take your money!...

When ours arrived I checked the MFD and it said about 8500 to go which I thought was odd so I spoke to the service department and they said it obviously wasn't set correctly so I took it in and they changed it to the long life setting. Incidentally my Golf has always been on longlife but it came back from its last service programmed on the fixed interval instead of the longlife (again they changed it when I took it back in) so maybe it is a VW ploy to get hold of pennies from unsuspecting owners?

And my t6 isn’t a year old yet
Oily
Mine did exactly the same. Dealer said doesn't need even an oil service until 1 year or 20k.
Explaination.....service indicators hadn't been calibrated to zero during the pdi.
The vans apparently leave the factory with numbers at all levels and should be zeroed before delivery. The oil service indicators are the most likely to be wrong.

Mine has flashed up that it is due for an “inspection”
1 yr and 6k

What’s that all about..... or do I need to RTFM :D

@Davenjo I paid £150ish and had a 204 Kombi to play with for the day.
WOW - just tried booking my Land Rover in for a service (4 year/48k miles - but only done 21k) and been quoted £860 - thought last year was a big one at £600 but apparently this is a bigger one! I’ve got until July to sort so holding off booking for a while! At least I won’t need to remortgage for the T6 lol.

:eek::eek:

That was the reason my dad sold his Discovery, he was fed up with the £600-£1000 services.

I'm glad I went for the up-front service plan!

First 2 services included for £99 :)

Done about 11000 in a year, oil change notification flashed for 3500, main service in 14000?

Another reason I sold my Range Rover! Get shot mate will cost you a £1000 a year for life lol

Hear what you are saying but it’s the only new car I’ve ever bought that, after 4 years, is still worth over 75% of what I paid for it with values still going up. Logic says get rid but it was (and probably still is) my dream car and I know that the moment I get rid I will immediately regret it.
