Seriously.. that would be amazing.. the panel I’m looking at does have a large junction box underneath, so not an easy cut out compared to round options

Wow! That’s going to need a BIG hole!
If I were you I’d make a dummy panel up to see if it is even possible to get it in place before cutting any holes in the real thing.
Do the wires disconnect from the junction box?
