No there perfect.
But I would recommend/advise at some point to look at adding a battery monitor and possibly a LBP. (Low battery protect) as a 11v cutoff. To extend the lifecycle of the battery.
im thinking . .Are you building a bunker ready for Armageddon?
Its not really free. There is £1800 of battery there, plus all the ancillaries. Thats a lot of electricity.im thinking . .
2x for the van
2x for camping battery boxes
2x for the solar shed or other
or all 6x for Armageddon bunker
with solar charging them up there is a good amount of free stored energy there . . .
If you live to 120 years of age it will pay back. Its not really free. There is £1800 of battery there, plus all the ancillaries. Thats a lot of electricity.
Can just see the Mrs going down to the shed in the rain to pick up the battery and inverter, bring it all back so she can hover the carpetsIts not really free. There is £1800 of battery there, plus all the ancillaries. Thats a lot of electricity.
I'm looking to do this soon – just ordered the bits to make up a cable. Is there anything in particular I need to watch out for settings wise? After many hours we have the Valence software running on Windows 8 installed on MacBook Pro via Bootcamp, possible but what a pain in the arse.
can you post some pics of your setup for us all please . . .My valence is in and running, just about drained it over the weekend so was my first chance to see what capacity it has, pretty happy as is wasn't totally dead when I started and I think it'll take a few more amps aswell
