Also adaptation map might give some ideas what might be available with already installed codes.
However, I'm afraid VCDS can't break the locked codes.

and repeat the whole process and please report?

Solution with menu is easy. You have just to bring chinese firmware skin folder in device. Then you have the MIB2.5 skin with 8 tiles. Then you have tile for Car menu and you can access these menus without any diagnostic software also you have to change a value in txt file. But if you do wrong Unit is in bootloop and you`ll have to recover it.

Hallo nirvananils, where to get the "Chinese firmware skin" and does this work on every FW Version from the T6 PQ Unit ?
And what exactly to change in which txt file
For example can i just use the skin Folder from MST2_CN_VW_PQ_P0475T_0475 for my Firmware SW 0245 ?

It seems to work with much easier way then chinese Firmware. If Iam right you just have to modify a textfile in skin folder to activate menu change without loose DAB like with chinese Skins

I assume you are working on MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0478T ?
From searching though the Translations i saw that Fahrzeugstatus is not available in 0245

Actually working in 0478 PQ Firmware. Forget this last information, tried different attempt and this seems more valid. Will try that with 025x Firmware maybe later this evening.

I am working on transfering skins from 0478 to my 0245.
Need to compile me a tar binary for qnx ...

Done it with 3 Units. You can update from 02xx to 04xx! But you have to modify metainfo2.txt and swdownload to enable this.


Don`t waste your time with transfering themes from 0478 to older firm as older can't handle most of features. So only way is to update to 0478. Every Unit with train of 02xx and 03xx can update to 0478
