Mib2 retrofit & VDS errors to solve

Hello Mrs.,

I have a problem since installing a Discover Media (ref. 5C0 035 680 C) on my T6 Westfalia Kepler One (basic Transporter chassis). CP is off & I buyed it from Poland Ebay. I had to change the USB connector for the carplay to work, and it works properly. All the functions OK. Now I am waiting for the DAB and GPS antennas. VCDS currently has several errors:
1- Error in module 5F - GPS antenna (normal, it will be fixed soon).
2- Error in module 5F - DAB antenna (normal, it will be fixed soon).
3- Error in module 5F - component protection activated (normal as it is a non-standard equipment, I don't know if it can be fixed).
4- Error in module 17 - Component protection activated (normal being a non-standard equipment, I do not know if it can be fixed).

So far the mistakes are logical.

The problem is that I get an error in module 37 Navigation - unregistered, when this error with the old infotainment (composition color) did not appear. Also, it is not selected in the gateway device list. I tried to select, save, deselect it, and save again, but the error still appears. I tried to clear the error, but it still appears. I imagine the problem may have to do with the coding of the 19 CAN gateway module, but I don’t know what changes I need to make to solve it.

You unticked 37 on this screen? Engine not running, IGN ON?

1) Battery voltage high enough?
2) You could try to edit/save Gateway Installation List - IGNition off (drivers door open).
3) You could try latest VCDS version (20.4.2 English). It works nicely in parallel with Spanish one.
4) Disconnect battery for a few minutes so that Gateway gets a fresh start.
