My Reflex Silver Project

Nice! Wonder if he does alcantara with a yellow top marker, like a GT3 RS...

Nope. No! Stop it. Must. not. spend. more. money!
He does mate, yeah. Honestly that was one mpd I was genuinely happy with spending cash on. I'm going to be like Adam.....do it haha

I need to ease up on the spending for a couple of months and just get out and enjoy the van, it feels like I've been spending £4, 5, 600 every month since October on it!

Next things on the list are big (ie costly!) things like upgrading the electrics (£2k), then sorting the exterior and suspension (£3-4k...). o_O

Same boat as me mate. Bought it April 21st, literally spent over 5k on it now with wheels and mods etc.

Next big thing is a full length kitchen, suspension (possibly air) and then.......enjoy it......honest

Another new mod.

After creating a post on here and speaking to @Dav-Tec for some help on the app Connect issue, he unfortunately couldnt help as i have the single sd slot. I searched and found a guy off Instagram in The Midlands local to me who could do it.

Mega happy with the result as I wanted to keep the dash OEM

Now get yourself a wireless android auto adapter. It's a game changer!

My usb is on the side of the radio. He had to change the usb module to the iPod version. My original one works on Android, but wanted it to be accessible for other devices too.

I don't think I have the secondary one, as my glove box is the van-x one

Ahh ok, well it'll work in any usb port that regular android auto works on. Just don't try charging the phone whilst also using wireless AA as your phone will get very toasty as it's communicating with AA over WiFi. On long journeys where I want my phone to charge I just swap out the wireless adapter with a regular USB.

Ah that makes sense. Appreciate all the advice, it's all new to me. Thanks bud

Oh and another little tip - you might not have voice control on your infotainment. That does not matter for android auto. If you press the voice button on the right of the steering wheel briefly you'll get a message pop up that it's not activated.

However if you press and hold for a few seconds with AA connected, it'll bypass this and bring up the voice control within android auto, which is basically "OK Google" which lets you control a whole host of things via voice, like navigating to somewhere, answering text or whatsapp messages, etc etc.
