My Reflex Silver Project

Bought myself a better bracket, which is actually designed for a transporter. Fitted it, but I'm not keen on the setup as yet. The tv is also now 12v, as I made the loom up using a lead off eBay and a step up transformer from 12 to 19v

As many of you will know, I had my interior retrimmed when I bought my rock n roll bed.

I went from this

To this

We then started using the van, camping in various locations over the U.K.

As time went on, the urge was there to get a single passenger seat, mainly because the bench seat was really uncomfortable on long journeys (common problem with bench seats)

So out it come!

I sold the seat on eBay, then sold the swivel base on here. The search began for a passenger captain seat.

I genuinely never realised how hard it was to find a passenger captain seat, with the base and the black plastics but without the ridiculous price tag. No lie, people were looking for £1,000-1,495 and miles away from me. After 3 weeks searching, this one popped up on fb marketplace, so I snapped it up!

I drove to Derby, grabbed some lunch with the mrs then went to collect it, fitting it on his drive.

I've now booked it in with Streamline Auto Beds to have it trimmed in same fabric as my other interior. In total, this chair with a swivel has cost over £1500

I also got a spare piece of mdf from work and decided to make a shelf inside the kitchen unit for more space, just need to wrap it in matching vinyl (ordered)

I also built two wood panels for behind the seats, but they'll be wrapped in the left over stretch carpet I have which matches the walls in the van.

I recently bought a real carbon bumper trim off @Pedro20001 for my rear bumper.

Weather was great, so I went to fit it.

After removing my old one, I discovered that the previous owner was intact a massive cock womble, gluing it to the bumper with grab adhesive.

I tried everything, but nothing would remove it

So Today, this arrived from veedub transporters

Clamped it down to let the tape adhere to the bumper. Luckily it's an exact match to my old one shape wise. I think i got away lightly!

Keep an eye on that mate. I had the same one previously & now have a small damaged area in the paintwork on the right hand bottom edge of my barn door where it slightly rubbed against the raised bits.
