I was after that T6 OOO that was auctioned recently but bailed out once it got over £2k. Bloody mad what it went for! I've just picked up T6 OHO off the DVLA website for £250 - only one letter different and nearly £5k less.... I just hope I'm not tempting fate with all these EGR and DMF problems people seem to have, otherwise I'll be putting a small hyphen between the 'H' and the second'O'!!

So it would seem that the 4D plates are still valid under BS AU145e as my mate just got his through yesterday.

Guys, I really fancy "German style font" pressed plates, what's your thoughts on them, is the UK police picky/strict if they are fitted on my van

I think some can be, but some (most?) of the 4D plates do not contain single colour lettering, the edges/sides are not an exact match for the face colour where they have been cut or by design and this makes them non compliant. If the lettering is gloss black on the face it must be gloss black on the sides.

The ones in your photo do look like a single colour on the face and sides.

I got stopped for them years ago. They were in plate holders and I had a legal set in the boot.

"Sorry Officer. I forgot to swap them after a show."
